Johnny Walker is one of the hottest young comics today. Based out of Los Angeles, and a regular at the famous Hollywood Improv and Laugh Factory, Johnny performed at over 50 colleges last year and is a seven-time NACA showcase selection. He travels extensively throughout the country entertaining college kids and headlining comedy clubs. Johnny blends traditional stand-up comedy with parody and original songs. Mix in improv comedy and a passionate political mind and you get an extremely talented entertainer. Johnny’s songs have been broadcast on the nationally syndicated All Comedy Radio, National Public Radio, Air America and XM Radio among others. Johnny grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. While attending Yale University, he was a member of the Whiffenpoofs a cappella group, and toured the world performing for kings, queens, prime ministers, presidents and other forms of heads of state. After graduating with degrees in history and political science, he moved to Los Angeles to study comedy. Drawn to improvisation, he studied at The Second City Conservatory and The Groundlings. He toured extensively in 2004 at garden parties, rallies, clubs, universities and political events in "battle ground" states to oust President Bush from office. He released an album of songs, Slamming Bush with Johnny Walker that continues to receive national radio airplay. Myspace.com has featured his short films, and they have received hundreds of thousands of views in 2007 alone. He has also recently appeared on the Oxygen Network in two shows that his mother’s friends watched: Boys Behaving Badly, a hidden camera show he starred in, and Breaking Up with Shannen, a show where he helped former 90210 Star Shannen Doherty make other people’s breakups into entertainment.
