Chamber Music in Yellow Springs is pleased to announce that the world premier of Allen McCullough's Quartet No.2 has been rescheduled for April 14, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church. The Aeolus Quartet will perform Dr. McCullough's composition and Haydn Quartet in F Major, Op 77 No 2, and Sibelius Quartet in D minor Op 56, 'Voces Intimae. (The March 24, 2013 concert had been cancelled due to an injury within the Daedalus String Quartet. Currently held tickets for the March 24th concert will be accepted for the replacement concert. Refunds will be available to those ticket holders who make a request and return their tickets to CMYS.) ................................. This concert presenting the premier of the new string quarter by Allen McCullough should be a full house. We urge you to be in your seats by 7:15. Promptly at 7:20, we sell unoccupied seats at the door. At 6:45, Wright State University Professor Charles Larkowski, a noted authority on repertoire and an engaging speaker, will discuss the music to be performed that evening.
