The holidays are not always joyful for everyone. Some may be dealing with an illness, loss of a loved one, financial struggles, or other tragedy. The constant refrains on radio and television about the happiness of the season or about getting together with family and friends, reminds many people of what they have lost. A Blue Christmas service offers hurting people a way to observe the birth of Jesus in a gentle and supportive environment. The Blue Christmas service will take place on December 12, 2012 and begins at 7:00 p.m. at Saint Anne Episcopal Church, 6461 Tylersville Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.
