Miami University's Safe Zone is a program designed to create a safer and more supportive social and educational campus climate for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender members of our community. Established in 2009, it is a collaborative training effort engaging students, staff, and faculty across all departments and offices on the Oxford campus. Come to this training to learn terminology and specific skills to help make the campus safer and more inclusive. Bring questions to ask members of the LGBTA community. Space is limited, so please register by emailing glbtq@muohio.edu Other trainings will be scheduled in the future, so please email if you are interested in attending at another time or if you would like to discuss bringing a training to your department or organization.
