Directed by Julian Schnabel, the film Basquiat tells the story of the youthful Jean-Michel Basquiat, who was a street artist living in Thompkins Square Park in a cardboard box when he was ???discovered??? by Andy Warhol and the art world.
Cynthia Collins, Curator of Education, will introduce the film and highlight Basquiat???s contributions to contemporary art.
