Presented by the University of Dayton Arts Series and Cityfolk. Inspired by the guitarist Django Reinhardt and the Quintet of the Hot Club of France, Hot Club of Detroit delivers a fiercely swinging brand of gypsy jazz. Both acoustic and electric guitars, tenor and soprano sax, as well as clarinet, accordion, bandoneón and upright bass weave together a range of musical traditions. The result is a retro yet hip sound: a siren sound for all generations. $20; $18 for seniors, military, University faculty and staff; $10 for students
