The Park District received a generous donation for the purchase of Nordic Poles and we cannot wait to use them! Trekking with Nordic Poles increases endurance, works the entire body, and revs your metabolism up - you can burn up to 40% more calories than walking without poles. We are offering an introductory series of workshops this spring and will being our weekly Trail Trekking program this summer. Your registration includes all five workshops. Join us to learn proper technique and make yourself more familiar with Nordic poles. Each workshop will include an introduction and practice. Trail Trekking is led by an nationally certified group exercise instroctor. Registration required.
