Do you have a great idea for a new course but aren't sure how to get it off the ground? Perhaps you are involved in the design of a new degree and need to develop a course to help students fulfill the requirements.
Join Cathy Bishop-Clark, Ted Light, Janet Marshall, and Howard Vail for a conversation on developing a new course and obtaining support for the process. As chair of the Computer Information Technology Department (CIT), Cathy has been involved in the development of several new courses and degrees, including the new Health Information Technology (HIT) degree offered at the Miami Regionals. Ted, chair of the Business Technology Department (BTE), has been involved in the development of courses to support several degrees in BTE, as well as business-focused concentrations in the Bachelor of Integrative Studies (BIS) degree. Both Cathy and Ted will discuss the new course development process from start-to-finish.
