FOCUS is a program for young women ages 16-19, and teaches responsible and healthy behaviors, improving communication skills, and preventing unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections. There is no cost to participate, and each participant will receive a $50 gift card as compensation for time spent. They will be asked to complete two follow-up surveys over a one-year period, and will receive an additional $50 gift card for each completed and returned survey. The FOCUS program will be held at Fairfield Lane Library on Saturday, March 9th and Saturday, March 30th from 9:30am to 2:00pm. Participants must attend both sessions to receive the gift card, and parental consent is required for participants under age 18.
