Dayton Ohio Flag Football Tournament Saturday May 18th 2013. All the Proceeds go to creating care packages for families of premature babies. Having two children of my own who were born early my wife and I both know what it's like not knowing what each day is going to bring! Our first child was born six weeks early and together we were able to support one another, pray to God for help and that our little boy would be fine! God is great and now our son is five years old! Four years later we had another child who was born three months early and this one was much harder as my wife was down in the hospital by herself every single day to be with our daughter. A time like this should not be spent alone, as fear and not having a shoulder to lean on can be scary. I could not be at the hospital every single day like she could be as I had to take care of our son as well as work. What this Flag football Tournament is going to allow us to do is to be able to create care packages for families that are in NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and will show them that they are not alone. Some of the things that the care packages will include will be tissues, hand lotion, information on premature babies, contact information for spiritual and emotional support. Parking tickets as parking can be expensive to get in and out of the hospital daily as well as other things as we begin to grow the foundation. Maybe you know exactly what we are talking about with having a premature baby, it's scary and no family should be alone through this and that is why we want to create this foundation and help families through these rough times! Maybe you know someone that went through it, coming and being a part of the Flag football tournament on Saturday May 18th will help us get started in creating care packages for families!
