Topic: 1913 Flood and Dayton Dam System, 100 Years Later
Speaker: Kurt Rinehart, P.E., Chief Engineer for The Miami Conservancy District Mr. Rinehart will discuss the devastating 1913 flood and then describe the engineering aspects of the dam system. Kurt will speak about some of the maintenance features and problems experienced. The dam system was a direct result of the flood. This is a joint luncheon with Dayton Society of Professional Engineers (DSPE). We expect a good turnout so register early!
Lunch: A buffet lunch will be served. A PDH certificate will be provided to attendees.
